Wilmslow Sliding Sash Windows and French Doors

This customer approached us when he was extending the back of his house, giving himself a bigger kitchen. They wanted to let maximum light in through the back wall of the build but also achieve maximum ventilation if needed, therefore he came to us with the drawings for two banks of three sliding sash windows and a pair of french doors in between for access.

All this was made from Accoya because of its extremely low thermal conductivity and more durable than the best tropical hardwoods. The two pillars on the outside were made from strips of Tricoya with decorative flutes grooved in. It also is an ideal timber for spraying because it creates such a smooth finish. All this work was professionally sprayed using the TEKNOS system in a farrow and ball Railings.
